About Me

I’m Ashley and I live in Boise, Idaho with my husband, two little ones, and aging German Shorthair. I’m a speech therapist by trade but have recently focused on my new role as Mom. I love anything outdoors and everything adventurous. I’m always up for learning something new but my passions include cooking, running, photography, reading, and art.

  1. Hi Ashley,
This is Susan DeBow. I wrote about Christmas this morning. I am glad you enjoyed it. And thank you for taking the time to let me know.

  2. You sound like a wonderful mother and a therapist πŸ™‚ But I do have one question regarding your about page. Seems like the word “camping” is left out somewhere from the description.lol Or is it implied when you say outdoor and adventure? πŸ™‚

  3. Your dad passed on your blog to me. Nice way to keep in touch, and I loved your thoughts on the new church and being busy. You’re exactly what a church desires and they should respond if they know you are interested. Keep asking questions. (You write well, too).

    • So glad you enjoyed reading my posts! And very flattered by your compliment. Finding the right fit for a church has proved to be challenging but I’m hanging in there with the Episcopal church I’ve been going to. So far I’ve really enjoyed the services. I’ve met some very kind people and they have an active children’s program. We shall see.

  4. Hey Ashley!

Just read your story on Be More With Less. Was happy and felt more connected as I was able to relate more for I experienced the same – embracing small moments of simplified pleasure. πŸ™‚
Soon I will be posting one of my similar experiences. Hope you like it. Till then take care of yourself and my love for your little ones!

P.S.: Am glad you decided to start a blog. πŸ™‚

    • I’m glad you liked my story and thanks for coming to check out my blog. It’s been quite a ride and I really enjoy posting each week.

Look forward to hearing about your experience with your little one. I’m off to see your blog now!
